Adlabs Imagica, India’s first giant enjoyment park, near Khopoli Mumbai-Pune road opens on April 18th, Thursday. It is spread across 110 acres. This park has been built with an investment of near about Rs 1,200 crore.
The theme park has 21 tourist things to do experienced technologies, such as the 4D simulation technology. 16 of these things are ready to enjoy, and the rest will be ready by June month.
All the 21 rides are made with international standards and among them one is based on Bollywood film ‘Mr India’. Adlabs Imagica will have 5 restaurants.
Manmohan Shetty, chairman, Adlabs Entertainment said that if everything goes well, they would expand the theme park into an adventure park. Shetty added that in the next one year, they were looking at starting a water park and hotel, which would take the total investment in the project to Rs 1,650 crore.
They were looking at setting up a 2nd theme park in Hyderabad by the end of the year. But further expansion will again depend on Imagica breaking even in the stipulated 5-6 years.
They expects about 2,000,000 to 3,000,000 visitors a year. The tickets will be priced at Rs 1,250 on weekdays and Rs 1,500 on weekends. The park will employ about 1,500 people.
This thrill ride is surely for the crazy ones. If you are looking for absolute disorientation, get seated. The scream machine first gathers some momentum by spinning. Just when you think you could handle it, it starts to swing. And not like a silly swing at the park.
